Veloces Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is a fast-growing EdTech company headquartered in Mumbai, India, seeking highly motivated academic individuals to join our expanding Department of Physics at Vidhyadeep University, Surat.

We offer B.Tech programs in collaboration with Microsoft, with specializations in Cyber Security and Virtual/Augmented Reality. Physics plays a critical role in shaping the scientific and analytical skills of engineering students, and we are committed to delivering a strong foundational and applied physics education.

Role Description:

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor or Assistant Professor in Physics at Vidhyadeep University.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting lectures and tutorials for undergraduate engineering students
• Designing, preparing, and teaching core and elective physics courses relevant to B.Tech programs
• Creating and evaluating exams, assignments, and lab projects to assess student learning
• Providing academic mentorship and guidance to students
• Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement of academic programs
• Collaborating with other departments to integrate physics applications in engineering disciplines

Qualifications:

• PhD or currently pursuing PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field from a recognized university is preferred
• M.Sc. or M.Tech in Physics or Applied Physics with 70 percent or above
• Minimum 4 years of teaching experience at an institution of repute, preferably in engineering education
• Strong command over subjects such as Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Physics, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, and Solid-State Physics
• Experience with simulation or computational tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, or COMSOL is an added advantage
